1. No cancellation fee – if you provide clear notice of a cancellation 48 hours (2 days) prior to the scheduled appointment.
2. 100% of service fee – if notice is given within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time.
3. 100% of service fee – if you do not arrive to your scheduled appointment and no notice is given.

Late arrival

We will not begin sessions more than 15 minutes after the scheduled appointment time. If possible, we will attempt to provide a full session, but this may not be possible if another client is booked for the following appointment time. You remain liable for the appointment fee.

At GRP Speech Pathology we are proud to provide unique and personalised therapy in the comfort of your own home or community setting of choice. This means our clinicians are mobile, travelling across metropolitan Melbourne and Geelong to work in a diverse range of therapeutically appropriate locations.

Our skilled administration and logistics team strive to create achievable appointment schedules that allow for fluctuations in Melbourne’s traffic conditions.

The reality is that traffic conditions, much like the weather, are not always predictable and from time to time our therapists may run late for reasons beyond their control.

In the event that a GRP clinician arrives late to a scheduled appointment for reasons beyond their control, every effort to provide a full session will be made, however, this may not be possible if another client is booked for the following appointment time. In this instance, the full session fee will be charged.

Direct debit policy for self managed/private clients

GRP values continuous care for all of our clients.

In order to avoid disruptions to speech pathology services, GRP client’s who have self-managed NDIS plans or who are paying for sessions privately must register for GRP’s direct debit system in order to confirm their speech pathology bookings. Once you have signed up, following each speech pathology session,  the session will automatically be paid to ensure your account is always up to date.

Responding to GRP communication

At GRP Speech Pathology we value efficient communication above all else. In an aim to promptly secure your speech pathology bookings, we kindly ask that you respond to all GRP communication within a 72 hour period. Failure to do so will mean that we will offer your potential booking time to another client.

GRP Speech Pathology Service Agreement Policy

GRP endeavours to provide high-quality therapy for all clients, operating within the best practices recommended by the NDIS.

In order to engage with GRP speech pathology services, a GRP Speech Pathology service agreement must be signed.

In line with current NDIS best practise recommendations, GRP Speech Pathology does not accept other service agreements as a substitute to GRP Speech Pathology’s service agreement.

Please note that without a signed service agreement, we will be unable to confirm your ongoing speech pathology bookings.

GRP Speech Pathology Invoice Policy

All invoices are due within seven days of the completed speech pathology session.

If a client has three unpaid invoices, GRP Speech Pathology will contact the client, plan manager and/or support coordinator to request that the invoices be paid within a strict two week period from the date of contact.

If the invoices remain unpaid after two weeks, we will proceed to cancel the client’s ongoing speech pathology sessions until the payment has been received.

Please be aware that this may result in the loss of the clients allocated therapy slot and will potentially lead to an altered therapy schedule.
